Your dentist will be able to diagnose teeth grinding usually within a few minutes. If it is your first visit to the dentist and he does not have a record of your dental history he may ask you to revisit him in a few weeks or months.
The dentist will check whether the tips of your teeth are flat. If the answer is positive, you probably suffer from grinding teeth.
The dentist will probably let you use a mouth guard as a solution to stop grinding teeth.
