There are many people who suffer from the problem of bruxism or teeth grinding at night. Unfortunately, such people are at times unaware of this problem until they face some serious complications or someone tells them about it.
It may be that you too have the problem of grinding teeth but are unaware of it. Perhaps, you may want to look out for some symptoms. Here are some of the common symptoms of teeth grinding that you can look for if you want to check whether you are suffering from bruxism at night. The symptoms are as follows:
- If you always have headaches in the morning without any reason then you might be suffering from bruxism at night.
- If your teeth is too sensitive to hot and cold food then be aware
- If you have disturbed sleep and you always wake up at night for no apparent reason
- If you always have some chips on your teeth and don’t know why then you might be grinding your teeth at night
- If your jaws feel very tight and painful, especially in the morning then consult a doctor.
If you are suffering from these symptoms then you must seek treatment and find out methods of how to stop grinding teeth. If you realize your problem early and get the treatment done then there are high chances that you can stop teeth grinding permanently.
